Should I open the Discord server to the public?
Added 2019-06-29 17:34:57 +0000 UTCAs you all know, I have a Discord server that's available to all patrons once they pledge where they can chat (either with me or among themselves), share stuff, get post updates, and sometimes WIP updates while I'm working on them in real-time. Unfortunately, the server has been pretty much dead as of late (besides the occasional post/status update that I make whenever I'm able to). I kinda miss the days when it was a bit more active and I'd pop in to see people either talking about their latest gains, suggesting ideas for future drawings or Patreon features, gaming, and so on.
Well, that's where this post/poll comes in. A rather lively fat artist/fan of mine had expressed interest in joining the server (after hearing about it on another one he's in; I was surprised to hear that), though as you all know it's currently only available to patrons. Because of this, I wanted to run it by all of you, instead of making a decision outright.
If the server is made public, nothing will change for patrons. The exclusive update/body type channels and their respective voice channels will still remain Patreon-exclusives. Non-patron members will only have access to the default/general message and voice channels.
