P.S. I've finished repainting the kitchen walls (tl;dr, the first brand of paint that was used was crap and it didn't apply well; bought another brand last week), though the ceiling hasn't been finished yet. I'm not sure whether the remaining paint will cover the rest of it, seeing as my stepdad felt like using some of it to repaint the kitchen chairs and table (despite me telling him it's not furniture paint...). Even then, we still need to buy more to repaint the ceiling of all the rooms in the house (and paint my room's, since its ceiling was never painted in the first place).
