Still without a job

Here's a brief update on the whole job situation. The place that I mentioned I was going to (because of my family) was different than what everyone thought. Turns out it was just an employment agency. After turning in your documents and filling in some paper work, they gave me (and everyone else present at the time) a general test to get a gist of what job I was best suited for depending on my score. It's been a bit over a week since then, though I've yet to receive any calls about potential jobs that would hire me.

Our grandpa keeps bugging everyone about whether we've got a job yet or not (my bro also went to the agency the same day I did). I wish he (and the rest of our family) would just stop with the comments and questions. Just because you go to an employment agency or to a workplace of interest to drop off a resume does not guarantee that you'll get the job at all, let alone instantly. That's not how things work...

Half-way to a new mattress

I've currently saved up to $308.28 for a new mattress. I had my sights on a sale flyer I found at the start of last week, but the sale ends in 3 days and I'm still far from my goal. There's even less time remaining when you take into account that Paypal withdrawals/money transfers to a bank take at least 1 business day (instant transfer is not available for my bank). I most likely won't be able to buy anything from the current sale before it ends, but I would like to fill you guys in on it regardless of that.

The mattress options I'm interested in are on page 7. For those who don't understand Spanish, the flyer says that all mattresses are 25% off (if you just buy the mattress) and 50% off (if you buy them with a bedroom set). Since I don't need to buy a bedroom set, the 25% off prices for the Queen-sized mattresses should be the following (prices w/ tax included in parenthesis; tax is 11.5%):

• Option A [Average]: $448 ($499)
• Option B [Firm]: $523 ($583)
• Option C [Euro Top]: $598 ($666)
• Option D [Pillow Top]: $673 ($750)

All I can do is hope that a sale with better or similar prices happens again by the time I have saved up enough money to buy one.

Bust Tiers are officially gone

It's already been a little over a week, so the bust tiers are officially gone. As I mentioned in my last post, if someone was still pledging to them they'd be removed after exactly a week since they were notified about it has passed. Thankfully, there was only a single patron on the 2nd bust tier (formerly known as Galactic Journal), though I am a little worried that this person never replied at all.

I'll have to make some new tier reward icons, since the current ones are old and I feel like I should make ones that would somehow match the essence or summary of the tier itself.
