WIP: September: Ted & Edd's Talk Show

Here are some WIPs for the September drawing that won the monthly poll, Talk Show (Fat). All the character lineart is done, leaving only the studio's background to be done. Coloring and shading will be done afterward.

Ted is the slim host, while Edd is the fat one. The two lifeguards are part of the show's audience and were lucky enough to be invited on stage that day. The first sketch ended up being the one I went with in the end; I was already rather fond of it and I just couldn't get the idea/angle that I had in my head to come out properly. Maybe I'll try it again at my own leisure.

Originally known as The Ted Show (other names include Ted Tonight, Ted At Dawn, Etc.), the show focused on Ted as he heard out whatever problems the audience had and tries to cheer them up with a bit of comedic banter. Every day was the same routine: hearing people out, then heading back home, until Edd arrived one day. He loved the show a lot and wanted to vent out his frustrations; this lit something inside Ted and he truly wanted to learn more about him, becoming closer each day. They went on a dinner date after the show and eventually hit things off. Edd was really happy to have finally find someone who loved him just the way he was and after some time, he was invited to become a permanent part of the show.

Once happily married and his confidence restored, he accepted the offer and the show was reborn. Ted & Edd's Talk Show became a show that openly welcomed the gaining community, allowing them to come upstage to play with the hosts and discuss their own problems, among other topics.
