The Weather

With hurricane season having started this month (September), it's been a bit of a hectic and annoying time over here. While the first two hurricanes thankfully swerved off course, the heavy downpour of rain that they brought along caused the power to go out constantly during the past couple of weeks. This also means that my brother has been spending a lot of time in my room. (I feel uncomfortable when I try to draw while he's around, but I've been trying to press on, regardless.) The last thing to make its way to PR was a tropical storm whose rain was delayed until the days after it had long left our shores.

Other than the power outages, there wasn't really any damage in our area. However, the rain itself might have caused a couple of dead branches from one of the trees in our yard (that stretches a bit over the roof of the house) to finally begin to fall off. Thankfully, nobody was outside when those last 3 (so far) branches fell because that's just an accident waiting to happen.

Finally, A New Mattress!

Thanks to the patrons who have stuck along with me, I was finally able to purchase a new mattress and have been able to get some proper sleep once again. I meant to put up a list of stuff that needs to be replaced at home during summer, but that'll have to wait as I'll need to check the latest flyers and update each item accordingly.

Art Updates

As for Patreon updates, here's a list of what's going on as of late:

August drawing is almost done; characters are fully shaded. Only the background itself needs to be finished.
September WIPs (Talk Show Guest; Fat) will be up soon, if no more power outages occur.
October poll will be up tomorrow afternoon. I've already thought of a couple of ideas for them.
I'll try to have new WIPs for some of the other pending work soon.
I might do a stream during October, if possible. It's been quite some time since I've last done one.
