First and foremost, I apologize for the late WIP upload. I meant to have these up shortly after the poll had ended, but was unable to do so mostly because of the abrupt power outages that came alongside the weather warning of Dorian in the area that I live. Thankfully, it swerved out of PR's way and all we got was a bit of rain. Here's hoping the rest of this hurricane season doesn't end on a bad note.
As for the WIPs, the winning idea for August was Jogging/Track (Fat).
The sketch on the right was the very first one, as I was thinking about having the guy poorly attempting to hurdle over small fences at the track, getting them stuck on and under both his belly and fat pad in the process. The middle sketch was the 2nd one, which was an out of breath side view of him, followed by a quite and cutesy attempt at shortening his limbs and height to make him appear even fatter than he already was.
The second WIP was a cleanup/redo sketch I did of the middle pose from the first one. I tried to shorten his legs a bit and make his thigh have a couple of more rolls (along with some rolls/folds for the rest of him). Besides the pose being tweaked a bit, I had made him slightly fatter overall.
In the 3rd WIP, you can see that most of the lineart for the chub (minus his clothes) is already finished. After this, I thought that the piece would look better with another guy involved in it and I quickly sketched out a smaller jogger behind him. I haven't nailed down his expression just yet, but his proportions are more or less the ones I had in mind.
