It's me again,
The project is coming along nicely. One thing that has definitely changed about my pacing philosophy is that I do not believe every single aspect of the game requires or is deserving of explanation. Some things which would have been awkwardly paced tangents (such as my entire explanation of the Godskin Apostle in Elden Ring pt. 2) have been instead streamlined into more funny mentions, jokes, tighter paced tangents, or music montages. This is very clearly seen in how I summarize the Death Rite Bird and Commander Niall in a minute and 30 seconds. I also no longer feel pressured to tell myself "I need this much time" for each and every single boss, so Fire Giant is not going to get a minute long explanation of his entire moveset for each phase accompanied by 30 second montages for both. Instead, I'm doing what feels more natural, and it's slightly faster. Most importantly, I've told myself that all I need to do when explaining a boss is get to the jokes that I want to get to, and not to force it to be longer otherwise.
