🎨 Art Dump!

My iPad was only out of use for 3 days, but as someone who almost always draws every single day, it felt like forever. I went absolutely ham on personal art today cus I was so happy to have Procreate back LMAO.

As I mentioned in my last iPad update, i had to completely factory reset, and I lost everything. Having a completely empty Procreate gallery still makes me sad when I look at it, I lost years worth of art and sketches, but I’m trying to see the positives. And, thanks to my sister and my fiancé, I was able to get pretty much all of my downloaded brush packs back, as I had shared the packs with them both a while ago. 

One thing I did completely loose however was my old watermark. I’d been using my old WM since abouttt 2015? 2016? Its been around for a while. I made it back on Photoshop, and when my old computer had a hard drive issue and I lost everything off of there (I have bad luck with technology I suppose), I lost the original file for my old watermark. When I got procreate, I just traced my watermark off of n old art piece, and after I made it into a brush I deleted the file which was a foolish move, so it dawned on me earlier today that I don’t actually have a watermark anymore, and hey, what better excuse to make a brand new one! I’ve actually been meaning to make a new WM for a while, I’ve just been too lazy. I kinda like this new one! It’s a nice change. LMK what you guys think!💕

Tomorrow I’ll be back to work on my queue! I just wanted to take today to be a little self indulgent 🤭

as for the art pieces themselves, here’s a lil breakdown of them all.

1. Just a little doodle! I wanted to draw Dré in her Gurren Lagann hoodie & core drill collar bc I absolutely adore seeing her in both of them. It was just a comfort doodle.

2. Dré in the Panty & Stocking art style! P&SWG was the first anime I ever watched, and I watched it about 5/6 years ago now. I recently re watched it and fell in love with it all over again, and the art style is real fun to draw in! Plus the real reason I drew this is bc I kin Panty and I wanted to be self indulgent LMAO. Dré is wearing Panty’s jacket from the Death Race episode.

3. Blake!! Me and some of my Girl friends are doing a little Collab where we draw our sonas in a shirt that says “I’m a woman, not a doormat” as a fun little thing!

4. A sketch I did tonight but as it’s almost 1am I’m too tired to do anymore with it. But since I’ve been on a self indulgent art kick tonight of drawing Dré in things relating to my fav anime’s, I just had to draw her in a KLK themed piece. And I wanted to include the scissor blade this time round!
