I am going to start trying to post my Youtube Videos here as well so that those that are following my patreon, but not subscribed to a tier, may be able to see my work easier. Don't worry, those that are paid members are still the only ones to see the bonus content. You still have to subscribe for that ;) These will just be crossposts of the free content from Youtube being shared here as well.

2024-07-02 02:31:33 +0000 UTCI just noticed that on Patreon, your YouTube video has an option in Settings for 1080p HD that doesn't exist on the YouTube side. On there, this video is 480p but in Settings there's only an option for 'Higher Picture Quality ' . So, yes, if the free watchers are savvy they can get 1080p for free. But if it attracts more subs...Yay!

2024-07-01 23:53:35 +0000 UTCNope, they donβt get the 1080, they get the exact same as on YouTube. Itβs literally the same video from YouTube just shared here. Patreon is a social platform, where you can follow, but not see posts unless they are public (like these). I have checked repeatedly, people who are not paying members are not seeing the bonus higher quality content, I promise. And this appears to be working at least so far to convert free members to the paid tiers. As for the benefit of being non paying, that I donβt know. I assume people follow to keep track, then sign up (or drop off) when they are financially ready to. But Iβm not positive on that.

Except the free lurkers can now watch the free videos in 1080p HD as opposed to YouTube's mostly 480p, which brings up the question...What is to be gained by being a nonpaying member of your Patreon? What can they see that can't be seen until becoming a nonpaying member? What's the incentive to be a nonpaying member? I see guys all the time commenting on your early access vids and photos whose profiles say that they are supporters of 0 Creators, which sounds like they aren't a supporter of your channel. Zero means Zero, right? So technically they shouldn't be able to see the photos or early access videos, much less comment on them. It's confusing. I don't like the whole concept of nonpaying members. I want to turn all the nonpaying members into paid$ members! ππ
