His story is what made me grow to like him, I didn't care for him at the start but after seeing so much about him I just want him to find his way and be happy ๐ฅน

2025-08-29 01:00:31 +0000 UTCI really like how the show handles Zuko's character. It would be easy to just "flip a switch" and have him suddenly change his entire world view when it's convenient. But they regularly demonstrate just how difficult it is for Zuko to change. He was raised a prince under a powerful regime, most likely had his head filled with all sorts of propaganda from his father about fire nation superiority. A father who he desperately wants to receive love from. A father who permanently scarred him for wanting to avoid violence. But just like in real life... You can't just stop wanting to love and be loved by a parent, many such stories. It's a very mature portrayal of what a young person like him would be struggling with in his position.

2025-08-24 20:35:52 +0000 UTCYou can hear The Blue Spirit's theme song at the very beginning of the episode, as a cart rolls by with a mask of the blue spirit, just a few notes, foreshadowing at the return of Zuko putting the mask on at the end of the episode again!
