2025-06-25 23:48:33 +0000 UTCGood timing, ILLIT is releasing their 3rd Mini Album 'bomb' on June 16 and just shared a highlight medley and preview of the title track. Almond Chocolate was first released in February as an original JP soundtrack for 'It Takes More Than a Pretty Face to Fall in Love' (Kao Dake ja Suki ni Narimasen). Because it did incredibly well in JP, they recorded a KR version in March and performed it in a few places hence the later appearance on it's Live.

2025-05-23 18:42:15 +0000 UTCThis whole KIOF thing reminds me of whole situation with early MAMAMOO when they did blackface and got alot of backlash from it. Even though it was really bad, pretty much everyone decided to forgive them eventually because a) they continuously apologised as a group and individually for it. b) people didn't see it as ignorant but as a genuine thing that they didn't know was offensive (given they are all korean). Because of it, people moved on fairly quickly. I don't think KIOF is, or doing either of those points. I feel like the members and the company are trying to gloss over it rn and move on quickly. I 100% agree that their career should continue as artists, but they shouldve done much better in acknowledging it. Because like you said, it feels like a PR apology, not a legit one. I have a feeling this will stick around for a while, unfortunately.

2025-05-21 09:41:23 +0000 UTCThat's okay! What I'm saying is that I think they should be allowed to have a career going forward -- I don't think that's too off base. Internet culture has made it very easy to make people or groups pariahs and exempt from redemption, which is something I'll never agree with. We can always learn and better ourselves. I said myself the apology seemed half baked. They don't have to be absolved of their mistake NOW though at some point I hope they will be.

(If a POS like Mel Gibson can still have a career… just saying.) TripleS did such a great job, ive been bewitched with this CB. We're getting closer to badge war and I'm hyped🎉 (side note Artms… PUMPED‼️) Illit so sweet and fantastic, and I'm looking forward to their CB. I really don't know ifeye but I like what I heard.
