Any group that would be active during the year they've been active for as long as super junior and as active on every platform TV, radio, yt, would get as many controversies. And add at that the fact that a lot of Gen Z hate them bc they still popular after that long (go figure, the agism is wild), and you'll have the craziest "controversies". They take their words out of context, amplify them etc, and of course people are to quick to judge and never look it up! Claiming they're homophobic, racist, misogynist, fatphobic is so wild!! There are enough evidence that proof 100 times the contrary, starting by female artist thanking them for their support and how confortable they are to be around, or how they used to openly kiss on stage and befriend gay public figures (which are rare in korea and frowned upon espacially back then), or how pointing out the fatphobia of korea turn out to "they're fatphobic" when they are the only group having a plus size in their line up and people gave him hell for being fat. They're not perfect by any means, and they sure did mistakes, but the newer generation is not better just because labels hide them and controlle their words! I'm pretty sure i know their real personality (flaws and qualities) way more than any fans of 3rd, 4th, 5th gen. I'd like to add that during the burning sun scandal, Super Junior was almost the only famous group who didn't have a member involve, which is wild but also speaking volumes. Also, take americans artists of the same gen, you'll realise SUJU didn't do a quarter of what they did, but somehow it's ok for them but not suju!! Taylor swift is the most famous american singer and even worldwide and she has a shady neonazy past (present?), she was even pictured recently alongside her fiance with some neonazies, yet everyone is fawning over her engagment annoucement, talk about double standards...

The Little Prince is originally a French children's book, but it is popular in various countries. Shindong is one of the main dancers in Super Junior. Despite his size, he is incredibly flexible and majored in dance at university and he can do a wide variety from popping to tango. During his trainee days he came up with a dance routine that SM trainees still use to this day. Also, with SuJu, yeah they have had some controversies, but most of them were rooted in how Korea was back in the day. They (Korea) had no idea that blackface was rooted in oppression, or that cultural appropriation is considered a thing in the west, or a variety of other things as they were never exposed to these concepts. After Leeteuk made his crazy comments at LA SMTown (he gets super excited at concerts and often just goes crazy with running around or saying word salads), I saw many people saying that in Korea most people are unaware with how bad it is here and how T and E are considered basically evil. In some variety shows, E still is an answer to trivia questions and the guess the photo game.
