yeah... creating and maintaining that parasocial bond is THE major influence into enjoying a certain group or artist. You want your fans to be fan of your members, not necessarily your music. That's why the Babymonster predebut strategy was so effective. They gave us for nearly half a year, weekly releases with live performances, individual introductions, a reality tv show (Last Evaluation) culminating in their "will they / wont they eliminate someone" announcement, a member reaction to that announcement and their pre debut song "Dream". Compare that to how Blackpink came to be and how long they had to wait until they got their first own reality tv show (Blackpink House). In result Babymonster already had a huge and very dedicated fanbase that already was on "first name basis" for every of the 7 members. If you look at views and streams (internationally) including views of react channels to their content they already are one of the biggest 4th / 5 th Gen groups (maybe even THE biggest). Usually only Blackpink can get these kind of numbers and overtake them. Since debut whenever they release something they also offer a lot of live performances, as well as variety, and behind the scenes content. So they keep the train rolling. They even got very early their first Album as well as concerts (currently on their first world tour, but also their first fanmeetings already as mini concerts). So even though they're so young and just had their debut they already have a lot of experience in performing in front of a big audience or singing live in different settings on different variety shows. Most of that success is only possible because they have so many fans that already built that parasocial bonds with these members.

Love in My Heart and Really Like You have full music videos, and they also did a pretty fancy performance video for Billionaire. Obviously no pressure to check them out but I do think those songs are more likely to fit your taste than some of their previous ones.
