I totally agree with you in that we don't hear many live harmonies in kpop anymore even with the calibre of a group like NMIXX, which is a shame. Although there are groups with excellent singers, no group can carry the emotion of a song quite like Mamamoo, they really are such an amazing and unique group. I'm so hoping for a comeback or 2nd world tour soon because it's been too long without them as a group.

A sort of breakdown would be: All projected performers names are put in a bowl in the yellow circle/ball things. They are picked out at random and never know when they have to go. Performer 1 does their performance, the audience then votes (which is them just clicking yes if they liked the performance). Then Performer 2 would go. The audience votes again. Then both 1 and 2 come back out on stage and they talk/banter a bit, then its shown which one got the most votes. Then Performer 3 is picked, then they perform. Audience votes. Both 2 and 3 are then brought onstage and its shown which had the higher score. It can be either 2 or 3. It keeps going till the end, in which its whichever person has the higher votes. So when people say they won, their performance was liked by more people than very highly respected veteran artists that also performed that day. It's what gave them the reputation they have and why a lot of groups don't like to go up against them, like on Queendom. They learned during this show not to care about order, and if they do then they just wanna go first. They are there to perform and put on a show because they love to do that. BeLisMaMoo <- Believe and Listen to MamaMoo.... became a very popular saying during this show by the host when announcing it was their time to perform.
