that particular bbq chicken place is one of the largest (and oldest) franchises worldwide. BB.Q Chicken has like 3500 stores across the world and it's probably the same one that you see. You're in Seattle, right? I think there might be 3-4 there Stacking OD (Order Delivery) is just basically Uber share for delivery. So you have one delivery person deliver multiple orders in 1 trip instead of a dedicated delivery guy only delivering your order, it takes longer but is cheaper and the latest diet trend in korea is all about glucose monitoring. it's actually kind of crazy, regular peeps who DON'T have diabetes are getting continuous glucose monitors that only type 1 diabetics use and adopting diabetes diets and going as far as measuring their fasting blood glucose and monitoring how each piece of food they eat are affecting their blood sugar. It's actually kind of nuts and way overboard

2024-07-26 15:16:03 +0000 UTCi applaud you for checking out these self on kode's. Unfortunately they're pretty poorly subtitled and a lot is missed but they're all mostly pretty entertaining overall. For some reason, the convo (probably bc it IS done over text) is super slang and MZ and a lot of stuff just can't be explained in the subtitles (unless the program is actually paused and they do an explainer). It is definitely a program meant for the korean audience and not really done with international fandom in mind
