Thanksgiving Update

So, I fell into a trap that usually seems to happen. I go into the Thanksgiving weekend with dreams of high productivity and progress. Then I come out the other side with a lot less done than I'd hoped, and all the headaches of the holiday season waiting for me. Happens every year, and I still make the same mistake each time. Oh well.

I am probably two thirds of the way done with the initial draft of Common Labors, which is looking like it's going to be about as long as Common Cause. My plan is going to be to finish that off in the next two weeks. I'm pretty confident about making that deadline, though I have to admit I've been saying that for the past two or three weeks before that, so...

In any case, once that draft is done, I'm doing a quick consistency edit on it, and then doing the rewrite/grammar edits for Corporate Values. I'm hoping that means that by the end of the year, I'll be able to start in on Independently Motivated. All told, that will mean six books completed in 2024, and hopefully a solid start on the same for 2025.

The Schedule (until I mess it up):

Common Labors: Current -> Mid-Dec,

Corporate Values rewrites: Mid-Dec -> early Jan

Independently Motivated: Jan -> early Feb

Summer Revolution rewrites: Mid-Feb

Last King: March
