RazeXR 1.0.0 is now live on SideQuest!

Hello Patrons!

Exciting news, RazeXR is now at version 1.0.0 and is live on SideQuest for everyone to play, obviously this isn't that exciting for our patrons, but what is exciting is BaggyG has created a fantastic launcher to use with RazeXR that works fantastically (unlike my dodgy earlier 2D efforts). So we would recommend you head over to SideQuest, uninstall the current version of RazeXR on your headset and install the SideQuest version giving you access to the excellent launcher (this won't affect your save files)

Please note that the launcher scans for the game files in the following folder:

/RazeXR/raze

So if you have them installed elsewhere (like the RazeXR root folder) we recommend you move them into the above folder so the launcher can identify them.

We will return to RazeXR in the future once the underlying Raze engine has had additional support for scripting and weapon models added, we'll probably look at a PCVR version at that point too, but for now there's no reason not to share this with the world.

Thanks again from all of us a Team Beef for your continued support, it is hugely appreciated, and helps to make ports like this one see the light of day.

PS.. Hoping to drop a RealRTCW XR update very soon.. watch this space..

Hmm why did you need to restart the Quest? Did the Duke Nukem 3d shareware not work directly after installing RazeXR from Sidequest to Quest 3? - Bummser

I've just installed RazeXR onto the Quest 3, and aside from a couple mandatory restarts (with Blood requiring a complete restart of the Quest, but was fine afterwards), all is good. Thank goodness for the light gap at my nose, because it allowed me to write sown the instructions for the games outside of Duke Nukem 3D.
