The more I see of this franchise, the more of a fan I become. In this video I get an immediate shock to the style change or is it!? Why is this one so different from the others and how does it make me feel, a cold caller to this franchise?

It's a common belief that the timeline is loosely the release order of the games, so Rise happens after World but takes place in a very different place. And you were correct that Rise was an easier game than World. Rise was much more arcadey while World was more in line with how the Souls games play. It will be interesting to see your reaction to the Wilds cutscenes! Wilds had a major step up from both World and Rise in terms of quality of both cutscenes and story!
