His son didn't want to be called Walt Jr. Jessie also probably felt abandoned by his parents, his friends. They both were so lonely in that moment and devoid of connection and they found common ground through their rage and despair. I don't know what that means lol but just interesting to see them lean on each other in that moment of rock bottom.

2025-03-03 11:31:53 +0000 UTCoof this episode is always a pain to get through in terms of second-hand embarrassment and in terms of just watching jesse get the short end of the stick again and again. I do find it interesting how as soon as his relationship with flynn and skyler starts to fracture, walt immediately takes out his anger on jesse but he also lets him in his house and makes breakfast for him. It's like walt sees hims as a "pathetic junkie" aka a useless nobody in one instance but also as a valuable replacement member of his family when it suits him in another.
