I've never worked anywhere big enough to have to deal with HR but I've had some awful work experiences and although I wish everything was better and no-one had to deal with this BS, it does at least make me feel less alone to hear others going through shitty experiences. Side note - if you're in the UK, join a union. So worthwhile. Even if you think your employer is "one of the good ones". And probably in many other places too, but obviously look into local rules and workers organisations and figure out what works best for you and your fellow employees.

Im a broke student so I cant stay on longer than a month but im very excited to hear more from you guys. The way my geography teacher taught us stalagmites vs tites was that tites ("tights" aka pantyhose) unfurl down when you hold them and mites run up your legs! Tites go down, mites go up. Can't wait for more EITFO :)
