You have been on the run from the bounty hunters of Cossovo for weeks now. Your near death encounter with the business end of a marksman as you escaped across Cossovo’s docks with Doctor Williams has left you scarred. The wound may have healed with assistance from the good doctor and his skills, but the fear of death remains. As does the reminder of your brush with death. A scar where the bullet had passed through you on your abdomen. Tonight as the two of you rest in a ratty inn on the outskirts of the port town of Askol, you are stirred awake by nightmares. The lingering stench of death and fear of what your future holds keeps you from the rest that you desperately need. Doctor Williams hears you tossing and turning in your bed and settles down beside you to offer aid in giving you a proper sleep. Soothing both body and mind. Hopefully without any more scalpels or otherwise.

EDIT: Finally listened again, and I want that tea! That combination sounds utterly delightful. Also, while Dr. Williams likes the sound of his own voice, his tone drips in wisdom, knowledge, and calm, and I could listen to it all night. = I listened to this before falling asleep, and it was the best/worst time to do so. I realize it's a sleep aide, but I think I missed some parts, so I'll give it a listen when I'm more lively 🤭

Some people just do a few minutes of storytelling and the rest of the audio is just ambience, but you Kabu gave us a full scene between doc and his accomplice. There's a piece of William's background story, a relaxing conversation, some cooking and casting spells moments. And all other sounds like leather clothing, tea prep (especially the left and right ear moments) and all the background SFX and music are just amazing. You did a great work with this sleep aid, thank you so much :) Have a great day and good luck with everything!
