A disheveled, quiet place on the outskirts of the slums rank with the scent of urine and stale liquor. He’d been here for an hour leading up to the appointed meeting time, old habits. Knocking at the door, he was met with the sounds of Dennis wheeling himself to the door, a half empty glass of scotch in the man’s hand. Harold entered, closing and locking the several bolts attached to the door. Perhaps with his former intelligence officer’s assistance, he’d be able to learn more about Sanilova and his adversaries.
