Slatewood. A city of slums and singers, of both extreme wealth and poverty. Somehow amidst the chaos you’ve gotten an education in the medical field. However with this education came a steep cost, one that left you in financial ruin. With nowhere else to turn to, you began working for one of the largest mafia families in Slatewood, the Monsantori. Here, you’d patch up their hostages or tend to their wounded soldiers. Today was no different. You walked through the dark warehouse they were using to store their newest victim, a man from another gang; The Scrapdogs. He’d been here for a week and was now on the verge of death, the Monsantori were keeping him here for…interrogation. You were here to keep him from dying until they got what they wanted out of him. Entering the room you saw him, beaten to a pulp with all manner of horrible implements around him. He raises his head tiredly to grimace as you enter. Deep blue eyes and light brown hair matted with blood greet you. As you tend to his wounds, the two of you begin to speak, he doesn’t trust you. Not yet. But he gives you a choice that may change that.
**I've got a bit of the Covid voice but I did what I could. Hope you enjoy!**

Oh Slatewood...the stories and characters are always interesting and intriguing. And this one was so damn good. Really felt the emotions and intense build up throughout this. I was wincing in pain along with Percy. And that ending...can we say cliffhanger! Definitely needed this after a stressful week. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

2023-09-18 22:58:26 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this a lot. I've missed Slatewood! Actually made me feel back at home in NYC. Please let there be more Slatewood audios be in our future. These stories are so good and deserve telling. And you know my choice is definitely to let him out! I know you had a roughed up voice but it truly sounded so good for this audio. That was a great way of putting your illness to use. Now that the audio is done, be sure to get some rest and recover. Thank you so much for another incredible audio. Hugs, soup, and love! <3
