It's later in the evening, not that you'd be able to tell the difference from deep beneath the earth. You and Adam have just returned from a friendly drinking session beyond the gates following a successful scavenging mission in the dunes. Walking through a crowded market on the subway platform, you hear a commotion and investigate; only to find an emaciated man being kicked to the floor by two armed Echelon enforcers. The man on the ground confesses to being a thief who looted food stores from the hydroponics bay and is promptly dragged off to the boiler room by the enforcers; a place which non return from. Shaking off the grim premonitions of what awaits the poor man, Adam takes you to The Grub, his favorite diner down here on the W6 platform. There, you are met with the sweet ring of a shop bell above the door. The Grub is built out of an abandoned subway car. Plush seats from an actual diner on the surface have replaced the subway seating, a large piece of the car has been sawed away where a kitchen and bar have been built in it's stead. Of all the places on the W6 platform, this is one of the finest. Adam calls over a man sitting on the counter, reading an old, waterlogged book. The figure turns around, revealing a handsome man with peppered grey and black hair gelled back and stubble, relatively unkempt. From there, the three of you converse over a hearty bowl of domestic food and partake in teasing Adam at any chance you can get. Eventually, the night wears on and you confess something to Adam, and he responds in turn. But a night together in your tent on the platforms isn't all that awaits you this fine evening.
