You're alone, sitting amidst a crowd of people. Raising the last of your drink to your lips, you are startled for a moment as a man dressed in a rugged, brown flight suit and black leather jacket approaches you. He smiles, ordering up a far-too-large drink for himself, and one for you. He introduces himself simply as 'Nicholas'. The large man seats himself and brushes a gloved hand along his short-cut hair, a devious glint in his eyes before the two of you engage in some productive conversation.

This is something I've planned to make a short 5 or so episode CYOA (Choose your own adventure) out of! There'll be two options for this first episode and it'll influence the future audios I make in this short series. Make sure to vote on the poll I'll be releasing! Trust me, he's kinda cool. Oh! And side note, my voice was absolutely THRASHED by allergies so please forgive the overly gruff voice. Hope you enjoy!

Having just finished running a festival this weekend, this audio was extra soothing. I've had bass bumps in my background noise for days. The effects of allergies on the timbre of your voice really worked to your advantage in the creation of this character. As he gets some of the rest and relaxation that he's aiming for with the listener, we will hear his voice sharpen, as if given new vitality.
