Rolling Stone Full Interview
Added 2023-03-12 18:26:55 +0000 UTCHey folks! I haven't given expected release dates for any of my upcoming videos but I did hope to have something out earlier this month and if you've been paying attention to my twitter you know what got me sidetracked.
If you don't know, basically I had a weird run in with a tory who tried to write a daily mail article claiming I had said on my way out of the pub bathroom "I'll wipe my hands on my penis". So after I pointed out that I was the woman in the story and I'd actually said "jeans" not "penis" I got a bunch of requests for interview and I turned most of them down because the British press hates trans people. However, Rolling Stone America reached out and I gave them an interview.
You can read the article CT wrote here, but as per my stance on journalists I recorded the interview from my end and I told them I'd be putting it up on patreon so that everyone would have a clean version of anything I'd said. Enjoy!

Part of my hope in posting this is to show people how best to interact with the press if they need to. Obviously I had a very friendly interviewer here, but I wanted people to see for example that I started by saying clearly that I was recording on my end and then making it really clear why trans people don't trust journalists
