Rework. Update Your Pledges!

Gather around kids, it's about that time for another boring news post with Uncle Tank!

Unfortunately, this one isn't gonna be fun. After some discussion with Patreon representatives, it's been determined that our current reward structure falls outside of their terms of service, and we risk cancellation by not updating it. Colt and I talked amongst ourselves, and we decided that the best thing to do going forward would be to cut out the personalized bonus content. There's simply no fair way for us to create guaranteed content for everyone that wants it, and since raffle-style is prohibited, our hands are pretty much tied on what we can do. Of course we will honor our committments to those already chosen, up until March 2019, but that's a change we're going to have to make moving forward. It sucks, and we're not happy about it either, but hopefully you guys understand our position here. 

What that means going forward is that we're going to redo our tiers, and our payment structure. Our bottom tier and top tier will be disappearing, and we'll be switching to a monthly payment, rather than upload-based, so it should be a little more predictable than the occasional spikes we have been putting you guys through. The new $5 per month tier will grant you all the access that you're used to, and there's no possibility of you being charged more than that per month. The new $10 tier comes with full access, votes on content for both bonus comics and sometimes the more drawn out stories we will tell. We'll also be doing one or two streams per month, which may include some giveaways for those present, and the $10 tier will get you access to those as well.

This has been a hard decision for both of us, and we apologize for the disappointment that it might result in. You guys are a great audience, and we wish we could give you all the personalized content that you want, but it just ain't in the cards right now. Both Colt and I understand that we might lose some of you for this, and that's totally understandable; we bear no ill will to anyone who thinks our content is no longer worth what we're asking. For the rest of y'all, though, we hope you'll stick around and see what's in store. :) 

Over the course of the next week or so, so you guys have time to adjust your pledges, we'll be reworking the tiers to better reflect our new model. Thank you guys for being so patient with us!
