“Aw, passing out so soon?” Regus asked, laughing.  “Such a shame.  You were very fun to play with, Slick.”
He called the rest of his minions into the throne room.  As they piled in, many could notice the panther man’s obvious vore belly and started murmuring about it amongst themselves.  When everyone arrived, Regus began.
He stood up from his throne.  “Slick is no longer with us,” he said, slapping his stomach, which was growling so loud people in the back row could hear it.  “The traitor has become my meal.  Know that if you ever betray me or your comrades, a similar fate befalls you.”
The panther man licked his lips.  “And I am more than happy to eat you.  You are dismissed.”
He watched the minions go, taking care to look at their faces for any signs of distrust or disapproval.  That’s when he noticed the look in Sakura’s eyes.  She had been hesitant and slow ever since Devin’s death by the vacuum—perhaps she was a threat that needed to be taken care of?
Regus sat down on his throne, and pondered what he needed to do next.
