Update on where things are at.
Added 2019-10-09 04:13:06 +0000 UTCI really should be keeping you up to date and i apologize for not doing so the last couple of weeks, I was hoping I could simply have my next post be the update. I had both real life issues and a technical one holding me up.
Specifically, I went through three iterations of a party system. One would've been nice but the necessary plug-ins to make it work were both very labor intensive to use to the point where I'd have to redesign quite a lot of things from the ground up (I did get started on that, as long term it would be better looking and allow me to do some other things, but...), another would've been too simplistic and a bit annoying to use over the long term.
The third option was a medium between the two, easy to use yet still a decent UI. The problem was that it was entirely breaking my subway event, so I had to redesign around that. Already solved that problem, so now I'm finishing up on the dungeon and weighing whether I'll have to save the compulsion next tiers for the next version or delay a little longer and put in even more content.
Basically here's where I'm at on the necessary for next update details:
Post-Arena Cutscenes: Finished.
New items/armors: Finished
2 new events (One of which will unlock first tier clothing upgrades): Finished.
Dungeon Mapping: Finished.
Party/Equip management System: Probably finished? I've done some testing but I do plan a full playthrough test to make sure things aren't conflicting.
Dungeon Enemy design: 75% (Most abilities and battler picking finished)
Dungeon Story events: 75%
Idol compulsion additional tier: 50%
Avarice compulsion additional tier: 50%
I haven't stopped working on this at any point, even with real life issues. I've put in dozens of hours of work since my last post, I greatly underestimated the amount of work left to be done, mostly because I assumed that the party system would be the easy part. I apologize.
