i think music has its own language to speak off... often not too good acting can be covered with a good tune.. can bring a tear as well.. and more. thank you for the link Sam!

i didn't think of that. maybe things could have gone differently! he acted on survival instinct, i maybe did the same.. even though i might be more empathic due to being raised by a single mother..

Music is such an important part of any television show or movie presence, it can be a true joy to hear again and again... even when rearticulated.
Here is one of the best percussionists I've ever heard in all my 40 years of being an amateur musician. His name is Joe Porter. He's playing the theme songs of Better Call Saul, Sherlock, and The Last Of Us, making the music composition of a full percussion band all by himself:

I also think Joel not picking up that family on the side of the road (although very understandable and even justified), it's a moral choice that he pays for.
If they pick up that family, it will take a few minutes. Then if they drive the same route, the streets are now blocked by too many people and their truck isn't on the street when that plane crashes and they don't get into an accident. Being on foot is what ultimately dooms them. Maybe bad things still happen to Joel/Sarah/Tommy, but we know terrible things happen to Joel because of that choice. It's a cruel punishment.

Good reaction! It interesting to see, it's not a normal zombie tv show, but something else special. Both the game and the show is turning out to be good which makes me happy. Glory to Capua! Glory to Rome!

oh yesss! felt so warming feeling watching this ^_^ sad part when Joel lost his baby girl... but the world was crumbling down regardless.. maybe taking care of her through that suffering will have it's toll even more.. Ellie plays a big role in this... and i can't wait to see more! glad you loved it Ellie! oh wait.. ur name is Ellie! haha ^_^

Thank you!! It's really great that you guys are reacting to this. As you can see from my name and icon, The Last of Us means a lot to me. I didn't know Ellie's last name at the time (Williams) so I gave her Joel's last name.
Personally I'm thrilled with what they've done so far with being faithful to the game but expanding the world. Deepening the characters in a way that the game didn't have time to because hey, players want to kill infected and progress. Tess in particular is special in the show. Only 9 episodes in Season 1 so not too much commitment. And they said the TV show will not go beyond the story in the games.
