A Sincere question
Added 2025-03-10 18:01:44 +0000 UTCIf I were to create some sort of purchasable and targeted video course that explains certain processes or like an overall guide to making X or y would that be something anyone was interested in? Not like my avant masterclass but more like a study of the actual fundamental processes themselves one by one

very much interested

2025-05-20 16:09:43 +0000 UTCI'd love to see a course going through the fundamentals of creating a piece of music. Something like making a song start to finish and detailing everything, thought process, what you are trying to achieve when you do something/why that decision is made, and going through basic do's and don'ts. I feel like as a music outsider there is a really big bridge to cross from "I have no clue what im doing im just putting random things in" to "I am choosing to do this because xyz", and it can be a bit frustrating. Maybe it comes with experience, but I feel like a detailed introduction to general music production is really really hard to find. Thanks for all the content :)

2025-04-02 16:10:02 +0000 UTCI'd love a sort of break down if the "best of" must die sounds. A few big ones for me would be Gem Shards, Airbourne remix (I still play this every set LOL), VIPS, Illegalities remix, Survivors etc!

2025-03-18 02:42:28 +0000 UTCBrotha please! I think mix down / mastering stuff would be absolutely game changing. Maybe some more sound design theory too! I often find those two are something I struggle with the most for some reason. Also just want to say thank you I’ve learned so much from you already man!

2025-03-14 19:21:10 +0000 UTCI'll write and record a Serum overview :)

2025-03-14 19:02:29 +0000 UTCI'd say sound design and melody design are the biggest troubles. Especially whenever you open any plugin or any synthesizer. There's so many buttons and toggles that it gets really easy to lose track of what does what and quite overwhelming
Vyper
2025-03-14 15:29:06 +0000 UTCwhat specifically do you want to understand? im sure I can help explain.
Lee Bates
2025-03-13 21:38:32 +0000 UTCFor sure that would be dope. Personally, the thing that holds me back when it comes to messing around with music is the lack of understanding. While platforms like youtube offer good examples. A lot of them dont go in depth too much and more rely on you copying stuff that also usually involves expensive plugins. This might just be me not searching correctly but that does not take away that something like this would be dope to see come to life.

2025-03-13 04:01:37 +0000 UTCFor me personally idc if it makes me sound like a fangirl but I'd buy just about anything you'd release in the form of education. The Avant Course was a catalyst to so much creative growth and I'm extremely happy with the patreon content as is. I'd be interested in this, won't be able to purchase it this month but without a doubt would pick them up.

2025-03-10 22:56:16 +0000 UTCits ok bud, and yes, i shouldnt and wouldnt make patreon monthly subscribers pay extra for something that they could get here, just repackaged. I would make sure all subscribers get access to that sort of thing.
Lee Bates
2025-03-10 22:35:55 +0000 UTCI’m sorry if I came across that way
Jon
2025-03-10 22:20:48 +0000 UTCAlso, this course would be outside of the personal and candid nature of the patreon. Obviously subscribers here get way more than the course could even cover. As far as I am concerned subscribers get everything before anyone else does.
Lee Bates
2025-03-10 21:50:54 +0000 UTCYou sure have an attitude despite me literally doing exactly what you’re paying for

2025-03-10 21:49:10 +0000 UTCJon
2025-03-10 21:40:41 +0000 UTCI wouldnt dream of making it expensive.
Lee Bates
2025-03-10 20:55:38 +0000 UTCthe theory behind how i make sounds is easy to explain, so i can def do that or at least approximate!
Lee Bates
2025-03-10 20:55:25 +0000 UTCsure!
Lee Bates
2025-03-10 20:55:01 +0000 UTCYes would absolutely love that 🙌🏽💕🎵

2025-03-10 18:45:36 +0000 UTCYes "The Light" breakdown would be insane! Also, just in general, drop theory. Every single drop you make is jaw-dropping lol it would be incredible for a further explanation on your intention and process behind it.
Ingrid Libera
2025-03-10 18:25:32 +0000 UTCYeah! Also agree with Gork 😃 It would so awesome to see some breakdowns of your songs! (even tho 80% of your stuff is resampled to audio form)
Mich
2025-03-10 18:13:13 +0000 UTCYes!
Landon
2025-03-10 18:08:47 +0000 UTCYes I would for sure be interested if the price was not too steep and I would be more inclined if I could buy the specific x or y course and not just all of them in a bundle if that makes sense
