I'm gonna sound so dumb if I'm misremembering but- I think there was a mickey mouse christmas special that did a version of this story and I loved it so much as a kid!!

2025-07-03 23:07:22 +0000 UTCfinally getting around to listening to this and realized my favorite sesame street christmas special is based on this story. basically ernie sells his rubber ducky to buy bert a box for his paper clip collection, and bert sells his paper clip collection for a soap dish for ernieโs rubber ducky ๐ฅฒ
