Depth? lighting? micro expressions? or subtle moments that make the viewer feel the depth of a story. I don't know. I just get something different with Japan! Kent, you should do a comparison Podcast episode of what makes Thai, Japan, and Korea BL their own thing? Because Im sure there is something and I can't pinpoint it! i'm feeling the same about "Our Youth" at the moment. its just Wonderbah!!

2024-12-03 08:28:22 +0000 UTCI may be the one off, but I'm not loving this series, especially in the upcoming episodes the way they moved stuff around. I understand completely that to shorten it they had to do that. I know Thailand had a lot of fluff in their version, but I didn't mind it, and it made the show feel more well rounded to me. This one seems choppy. Maybe its because I know what scenes are missing. Also, I don't feel like these actors are anywhere near as good as BoNo and FortPeat. But again that's my opinion. I do respect that others like this as well as or better than the original.
