Patreon IOS / Apple Announcement! Please Sign Up through Website or Desktop! Avoid IOS fees!

Hey everyone! TLDR: Avoid signing up for my Patreon through IOS at all costs!! Apple is trying to force more costs on the consumer. To avoid extra fees from Apple, PLEASE SIGN UP for my Patreon through a WEBSITE OR DESKTOP.

If you’re familiar already with things like YouTube premium and other apps, if you subscribe through the Apple Store you get charged a 30% increase fee. Apple is now doing the same thing to the Patreon app in the IOS store.

To avoid extra fees from Apple, PLEASE SIGN UP for my Patreon through a WEBSITE OR DESKTOP. Do NOT join me through the Apple Store!

Please open a computer and open the Patreon website, or use mobile web browser. I don’t want you to have extra fees because Apple is being greedy!

My price should always look the same to you, with no increase in cost!

Here is the information from Patreon:

STARTING NOV 2024, Apple is requiring that Patreon use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024. This means that starting in November, NEW memberships purchased in the iOS app will be subject to Apple's 30% App Store fee.

If you are an EXISTING member and plan to continue your membership, this DOES NOT apply to you. This change will ONLY affect people that join in or after November 2024 and use the IOS app.
