2023-11-01 04:51:21 +0000 UTCThe reason why it kept saying “I” was probably bc in Japanese most people can say what they want to without including nouns, mainly bc with context it’s not necessary to specify who you’re referring to and the only time u rrl use nouns is when that specification is needed. otherwise you sound like google translate and it sounds awkward so my assumption is that it used “I” as the default bc when they were talking there was no noun in the sentence (still it was rrl annoying when I saw the subtitles u had to read while watching this like I wish I could write correct subtitles for you 😭)

The sheer audacity of Team Japan to keep giving us series after series of top tier storytelling, acting, visuals, and character development. This series deserves awards. Possibly my favorite of the year.
