Its insane how Haru, the actor that played Kakeru, is only 17 years old when he took the role and this series is his first acting role ever. He's so good. I wish to see more of his works. I just know this series is going to be tht next series GMMTV going to remake with cps and I know they will ruin it. 😭

Actors did their line deliveries well, though objectively there were quite some moments where the expressions/movement could have had more purpose. i wished we could have longer runtimes so we could also take time to explore the side characters (sister, the blonde friend Hosaka) and how they all come together to paint a light hearted high school rom-com together. While i said the script is good - some bits were a tad too mature sounding for highschoolers though. do high school kids think and articulate that well nowadays??? all that being said, well done Japan. and also the song fits the show, i have put it in my playlist on loop! hoping to see more shows like this!

I mean they can tie for me but I just love the chemistry between these two more. I mean Kakeru is adorbs, I have liked all his twitter memes/pics, gifs, instavids, everything lol. Funny how he is in the same boyband with Minato (laundromat) and the 1 lead from Tokyo in April,, Kakeru and Yamato for the win, Ryuji and Amane as well, JAPAN wins! One thing else, you know it’s a great one if the rewatch value is high. I have seen these episodes countless times and every time it makes me smile, happy, kilig, just want to scream etc. Every series from gmmtv has been lackluster, the only saving Grace this yr is my school president and moonlight chicken, and probably our skyy the tale of thousand stars part. Last twilight probably is a good ended for the yr.
