This. (Edit: long rant too.) Many ppl were talking about the fast pacing - especially in ep 3 while not realising that there are loads of unmentioned timeskips shown through the different things they do and subjects they study during tutoring. And a few were wondering about the last scene in the pool. And they didn't understand how when Sailom was asking Kanghan to study for him, it wasn't that he thought he was important to Kanghan but he wanted to give Kang, who has absolutely no motivation in life, a reason live each day to the fullest. And you can see how well he was enjoying it (studying on his own will outside tutoring hours) because now he knows someone is there to appreciate and be proud of him. And after he stops his sessions with Sailom - he returns to his old life but this time realising that he no longer likes himself like that - cuz he wants Sailom to continue to look at him, be proud of him. Which is why he avoids him - because he needs to put on a show in front of his friends and skl without getting Sailom's disappointment. And then the force that just kept calling them to each other I can't!!! Kang's smile when Sailom returns!!!! 😭😭😭 they are officially in love and I hope they realise it soon! I think that Sailom will go back to being an escort to bail his brother who gets arrested in the trailer. Cuz from what we see he can't stand owing other ppl - especially direct money.

2023-09-09 12:05:04 +0000 UTCmy weekly dangerous romance essay coming up i love what you said about the shows use of separating them making their bond and friendship grow stronger. i didn’t even think about it like the way you said but it makes so much sense especially them realizing they genuinely enjoy each other’s company and miss the fact that they can’t talk which is kind of funny in its own right because they can but they just don’t know how to outside of tutoring. tutoring was their excuse to be friendly with each other and hang out and they didn’t know how to go about it after he was fired from tutoring kang. i just like seeing that happen and i hope we could see them build their friendship outside of tutoring - which we already started seeing a little bit. also maybe it’s just because I’m on tumblr and the opinions are always divided on there but there’s actually discourse on if the show is too fast paced and some not liking how it’s being done but personally i am loving it. i’m really loving the fast pace it just works for me. the amazing acting also helps i’d tune in just for the acting even if it the script was bad (which it’s not at all i’m loving how it’s written so far). i think what are the main criticisms i’m seeing is that kang changed too fast and while i can understand if people feel like that I don’t see it like that at all because all his bullying was about wanting to feel important and like he’s on top and wanting attention and wanting people to look at him because he’s not getting it from his family. and honestly when you think about it he’s not really changed that much. he cares about sailom not sailom’s friends. he cares about what sailom is doing and how he’s doing only. he stopped bullying yes because he’s realized what sailom goes through and what he was doing but also because he wants to impress sailom and be on his good side and he wants sailom to see him and to have expectations for him because he didn’t get that at home and he’s getting that with sailom. and it’s funny because he wanted sailom’s attention and focus when he was bullying him too he just ended up getting it in a completely different way and a way that makes him actually feel good about himself so of course he wants that feeling to keep going. and i dont’t know why anyone thinks that he’s not going to revert back in to the asshole kang from before when he was literally about to before pimfah offered to be tutored and we saw in the trailer that he’s throwing money at sailom telling him he’ll buy sailom himself - which was a lot like how he was acting when he was being a bully even down to throwing money. i could end up being wrong about all that but either way i like the direction they’ve taken kang’s character in even if he doesn’t revert at some point. i guess i just view him differently than the people that have criticisms for him as a character. sorry for the rant lol hopefully i made sense. i just don’t agree with some of the opinions I see on kang‘s character and the pacing (which is fine we can all have different opinions) so i’m glad to see you guys are enjoying it. i will say the only criticism i have is the lack of apology from kang to sailom and especially auto but we’ll see if it happens there’s still time i’ll just say if people can love never let me go so much then i can love dangerous romance 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ (no shade to never let me go i didn’t hate it but dangerous romance and never let me go have a similar vibe so i’m making a comparison) i didn’t expect the plot with the escorting to happen so soon either but i like that they’re already starting it though and based on the trailer he does it again (and kang loses his mind) so i’m curious about how that’s going to happen and how he’s going to lose his job as kang’s tutor again.
