I ABSOLUTELY LOVED and I mean L O V E D THIS MOVIE! "BABY" BROKE ME. This movie was way more involved than I thought it was originally going to be, and it gave me so much hope!

this movie was really good!! the book was better but thats just because this movie had to unfortunately take out a lot of parts from the book that i liked and it had to rush since it was only a movie time frame. i wish they made this into a series instead because the book has almost 450 pages. that's a lot to squeeze into a two hour movie. but nevertheless this movie was still really good and the actors had such amazing chemistry! the comedy also was really good and wasn't cheesy/cringey like i feared!! on its own, this is amazing. i highly recommend everyone read the book though because it will tie in some of the scenes and make them so much more meaningful! like for instance, throughout the book they are emailing each other articles about past gay presidents or presidents who had secret male lovers and showing each other that its possible and normal so when they are in the museum and they talk about making history together, it has more meaning... because it is referring to their past emails. and in the book Alex struggles more with figuring out his sexuality and they kind of have the conversation with Nora about it like in the movie but there was so much more to it that i loved and i am sad that they took it out but Alex is asking what this means for his sexuality and he asks her what the "numbers are for me being into dudes" and Nora says "78% chance of latent bisexual tendencies. 100% probability that this isnt a hypothetical question." haha and then when he asks her what his sexuality is Nora says "oh, like, i thought we were already there with you being Bi and everything. sorry, are we not? did i skip ahead again? my bad. hello, would you like to come out to me? im listening. hi." and then he asks if she thinks he is Bi and she's like "i cant tell you that Alex, that's the whole point!" but in the book, Nora is also Bi so he also questions her about how she knew, etc. so its kind of a nice moment between them. and in the book, he doesnt have anything with a reporter (i dont think) but he does have something with a guy in highschool and he calls that guy up and asks him what their fooling around meant and if it was gay and the guy is like "well i am gay if that answers your question". just the whole part in the book about him figuring out his sexuality was really funny and i wish they included a little more in the movie. instead of him already being ok about it. but either way the movie and book are both really good and i highly recommend people check out both!! :)

Yup, that 'Baby' will forever make me shed tears everytime I see that scene. Such a good film for the community. Now give me a sequel. 🤣

This was just nice! I heard alot of great things about the novel prior to this but im more of a manga reader lol so I was happy this was coming out and I was very impressed, not only did it deliver alot in the comedy aspects but also had a lot of emotional depth and maturity there that I wasn't really expecting. Thanks for reacting to this it was so fun and really heartwarming

This was such a good movie. I've read the book and was so worried that the movie wouldn't be as good but they really perfected it and showed it in such a good way, and the chemistry was amazing too. And the problems got solved so fast it was very satisfying.
