2023-08-09 05:12:16 +0000 UTCKent i didnt get that heartache bit as well even in mandarin - but yes we found out later that Su Yu meant to say that his selfless love/worry for duoduo and aunt zhou became bigger than his selfish want for a love that isnt shared - and the tension/emotion that he was going through upon realising that he'd be a 'previous child' from both his parents' past marriage.

2023-08-08 19:12:53 +0000 UTCWhat this series truly excels at is just family and what that word means to different people, I also experienced profound emotions during that get together scene just from flashing back to moments of when I grew up with people all around me and how secure I felt. My situation was obviously different from what was actually happening but it was those memories the series brought out anyway. Their bond already so important and beautiful. I just love this series and everything it stands for..I love how China incorporates excellent narratives around the main relationship, making sure everything gets that equal care and love. That’s why I love the Untamed so much. While it couldn’t directly express their love through a kiss the narrative around them made sure to emphasize that as much as humanly possible to create a love story in all forms, from family love, self love, and true love. This series takes those excellent qualities and display’s this with grace and beauty.
