I was looking for a good korean BL and they popped up on viki. It sounded like a sweet title. It turned out to be a good story. Then I checked to see if you guys reacted to it and here I am. It also makes me want to see more Shin Ye Chan acting.

But most shows lack the set up for that, and that’s mostly a downfall of the writing and director. a lot of shows shouldn’t need a ton of those scenes if they are well written and directed because they don’t fit the story! This show is a perfect example, they’ve barely touched but just from how it is set up and the actors, you can FEEL everything and they haven’t even kissed. Bed friend, the NC scenes could fit but they don’t set it up well

2023-03-28 23:23:18 +0000 UTCI feel like for me what they are doing so well with this and a series like Semantic Error is they know exactly what to include..the short length makes it integral for the writers to adapt properly this is what they must to make something compelling and I do think that really contributes to the strong writing as well as just having more artistry to their series. which is why I feel Japanese, Taiwanese, and Korean BL's feel so great to watch. Yeah, new Taiwanese Bl's don't come out all the time like Thai BL but lowkey every single one that comes out is lit..I feel some Thai BL's need to watch on the coasting by because other places are doing it better than you.. I think with criticism it's vital to be able to assess something objectively but you can still be respectful about it, You guys have always been amazing about that! I think too many of these people on MDL attack actors under the guise of criticism as ways to just personally attack people and I hate that shit. But on the other side people need to also stop thinking when someone expresses their opinion on your favorite series they are attacking you personally. Sure I have a series I love like Secret Crush on You that a ton of people hate for example. I adore this series and really don't care if others hate it but even I know it is not a perfect show and I can separate my love and critique it just fine..its not hard lol I do not need to be a chef to tell you a meal sucks lol..we can acknowledge people working hard and still express why we want the series to be better...I don't get why people struggle so much lol Love your honesty idk why people would want to watch something that wasn't honest lol keep being you kent!
