let me c+p, cause ep 2 is all about grammar today lol "xin chào các bạn" = hey guys/ my friends. pronunciation: xin = sin, cac like cackle, ban like band with a g instead of ---- -Based on my research, that bill is Vietnam's biggest currency which is about $20 USD. There is definitely poverty in vietnam, and you'll get your money's worth with USD. But, I also know people/acquaintances that come to the US with new money and buy homes/cars right away soo... -i think it's implied and based on ep 3, the cat stole Vinh's wallet to pay for the "camping trip" -when Vinh calls cat man a bastard, the word literally translates to dog, but based on context he's calling him a bastard -for the most part, both characters have been using polite/formal pronouns for each other. Vinh's calling cat man "cau" - maternal uncle, but in this context, he means Sir/Mister like ahjussi. Cat is calling vinh "Anh" - older brother, like oppa/hyung, But I feel its like in a very formal sense. Not like in kdramas, let's be friends and be casual with each other, hyung. -if u know english and can sing, you can easily pick up viet pronunciation. it's the context/grammar/sayings that can be confusing.
