oh man, i never thought i would see a viet bl here. im nowhere close to being a fluent speaker, so if there other viets here feel free to correct me. If I wanted to say hi, it would be "chao" + the honorific term of who your talking to. according to google, if u wanted to say hi to like a group of people "xin chào các bạn" = hey guys/ my friends. in terms of pronunciation, xin = sin, cac like cackle, ban like band with a g instead of Random notes: -my mom has a similar music player that plays the exact same buddhist prayer in the show. she would play it every morning lol. Viet people are very spiritual/ superstitious. -in the viet zodiac, instead of the rabbit, we got the cat. So, its the Year of Cat for us -O2 has done a good job translating from what i can understand. Ba Vinh, the main lead, speaks with a northern dialect, so its hard for me to understand what he says sometimes. Most of us in the states speak with what people in the homeland call the pre-war southern accent.
