2023-01-11 19:06:09 +0000 UTCAlso I stopped taking comments seriously when it comes to characters after everyone was hating on Ren from F4 Thailand or Cake from my only 12% only to be wrong an episode later…these people have no critical thinking and cant seem to empathize with grey characters..humans are not perfect and we all have our reasons for doing what we do, it’s annoying in our media people just want to dismiss that as being a terrible person and just want a fantasy instead of being challenged, discussing complexity, and character motivations in what we consume.

He was literally going through an emotional crisis with his conflicted feelings with Ben and Palm, plus seeing Palm -his true crush- "flirting" with Makeznie :). On top of all that, all this stress from bullying, dead father, lonely depression, work stress form the family business all being on his shoulders. sprinkle his alcohol allergy on top of all that and ofc you get a raging emotional outburst from him. He is gonna say things like that to Palm cuz he felt hurt by Palm(even though that wasn't Palms intention obviously), so naturally you'd use and say words that would hurt Palm that way he felt hurt. Its a childish teenage/young adult thing to do. Ik people are gonna say "oh he is technically 18 so he isn't a kid" but that is literally fresh out of being a kid, he mentally and emotionally is still a kid, it doesn't matter. People just see things like that and immediately say shit without thinking it through or using perspective to put themselves in the persons shoes. Me personally, I already(based off last weeks previews) that Nueng was gonna feel bad, apolgize then they'd make up n have their hot ass kissing scene lmaoo. people are too soft in those regards. because you know what it never was?.....that deep..it was neva that deep.

And his dad is obviously very homophobic so I can see why he wouldn’t come out to him probably at all. Seems like the type of dad to disown if you’re not straight so I can feel Ben’s pain in that moment where he had to lie. Nueng looked hurt and has the right to be but Ben is obviously hurting too. I’m so happy Chopper is there for Ben and I’m so happy Plan is there for Nueng.
