I just watched this episode, and I cursed Jim out, too bc there's no way this man just said that to Li Ming. I honestly think he feels bad that his love life is such a mess, but Li Ming is finding his way with Heart just fine. He can be bitter but the way he takes it out on his nephew is uncalled for.

I made the mistake of seeing next weeks preview and I already knew it was going to be something ππ BTW, I haven't even watch the episode yet... while eating my chicken and broccoli for dinner...LOL. I promise you I didn't plan it this way...I'll be finished watching it just in time to watch your reaction I'm sure!

For me Jim is a man sacrificing his own life for the well being of others. Granted no one asked him to, but he is taking the burden of everyone's happiness as his job to fulfill. and he is putting himself last. Granted he could use some lessons on how to talk to people but I think he comes from a good place. we will see, ya know with these writers anything can happen down the road in a few more eps. Li Ming is in full blown growing pains. he trying to find himself and his place in the world and having his first love at the same time. I really feel for him. here's to hoping that Gmmtv keeps the story stron strong and not give us a messy ep like they did with Never Let me go. finger crossed they dont run out of steam as we go.

Granted his way of showing it can use some extreme adjustment. Thailand is an extremely homophobic country and Jim knows what it's like to be scrutinized when you grow up poor and gay even though the only thing he did was fall in love with someone who was the same gender. The fact that the mom is showing up next week probably plays into things as well since we don't know her current stance on two men being in love. Jim is probably scared for Li Ming to lose what little relationship he has left with his mother.
