War’s coming in with the superb acting again this episode! I had no clue what to expect with this series all I knew is people were excited about it but I had no experience with the original or the actors and I gotta say that was great going in blind because I’ve been pretty blown away by this, it’s got me in an actual chokehold. What’s really great is this series has a very messy couple with a lot of angst but it works so well compared to something like Checkout or even TharnType S2 to an extent, where drama is just thrown in even if it goes against the characters growth. This is how you do dramatic storytelling well while making it feel somewhat natural. Eww sorry for this long ass comment lol It’s going to be hard for me to pick a favorite BL this year because there have been so many bangers! And more incoming!

HAHAHA In one of Nolan’s videos this week, they reacted to a P-Pop song and Nolan said how he was annoyed at the ABSCBN sound in the beginning (a big company in the PH) and there were crazy fans in the comments being hella offended & rude. They would say things like “this sound is embedded in the Filipino culture, you are offending the entirety of the Philippines.” For the record I’m Filipino- it’s not that deep, y’all just crazy. Like my Filipino people should prioritize more important things than sounds in media outlets. But don’t get me started 😂☠️. BUT ANYWAYS- It’s my new favorite thing to shade 😂

Hands down one of the best single episodes of a BL yet, even with all the pain in the 2nd half. Everyone was on fire. Def a contender for best show of 2022. 👀

Ryan Kelly

First of all I’m missing context but Kent had me cackling with the “offending the entirety of Thailand” comments in the beginning lol. And Nolan’s expression the whole first half of the episode hahah I never watched En of Love and was planning on watching it soon, but now I’m not so sure I want to 😭 I love this version so much. While I get where Vee was emotionally with Ploy, he was being such and idiot this whole episode! He never explained to Mark what really happened, which I know he was trying to apologize first but I wanted to scream!! Also I am SO impressed with War’s acting. His mannerisms, the way he conveys emotion through his expressions and his eyes, and body language really make it feel like he IS Mark. He’s playing his character so well.

yeah i think vee's biggest problem is that he's too nice. he has a big heart, something that desperate people are very much capable of taking advantage of. i relate to him in that sense a lot, especially with him and ploy and it becoming traumatic for him. which is why i think he wasn't as firm as he should have been with her. it felt like he just became a shell of himself because he has trouble saying no to her. but if it were me, and if i couldn't afford to lose mark, i'd have forced ploy to tell him herself what happened. like, you can't drag me down with you (by kissing me without my consent!!) when i was just trying to help you. nonetheless, for once vee just needs to prioritize mark's feelings in risky situations like this. when he doesn't, he just hurts them both in the end. also the mark+nuea scene and the mirror/parallel scenes after that had me in tears for the rest of the ep.

Samantha

i lol-ed at nolan's face that says 'im not going to give a darn cos he's gonna screw this sh*t up'

This episode had me going through a range of emotions. Mark deserves better and Vee needs to give Mark space.
