I honestly feel really bad for cake because not only does he himself have to adjust to his life back here but he also has to adjust to how Eiw is now and fit into his life again. He definitely doesn’t think he’s needed in eiws life anymore and that’s heartbreaking honestly. The difference between Eiw and cake when they’re jealous is probably because Eiw was shy and a child and cake is now grown up. Cake shows he’s jealous really strongly but Eiw doesn’t see it, everyone else does though. And no one knew apart from eiws sister that Eiw was jealous of cake and Rin.
