I was feeling some of what your were saying in this. It's kind of a bummer to me. I like when a lot of my fiction involves escapism from this universe which involves our morals too- honestly. Like- as in, if we really dig deep all the time and examine everything, than we cant have any stories about the mafia or anything like this and I want to engage in fantastical situations and extreme situations. Certain media is for engaging in real world morality and there are times for discussions on overarching problems in media but it does feel like the way the culture is right now, all characters have to stand up to a moral barometer or the audience will turn on the content. And it's kind of ridiculous to me.

2022-06-12 12:41:23 +0000 UTCHonestly the only things I can think about from this episode are Big’s death, the fact that Porsche didn’t go back home to Porchay after that whole thing, Pete getting electrocuted, vegas and Tawan ew, Ken’s head. We didn’t see enough of Ken in the show, we saw way more of Big so it’s obvious people would be more sus of him but I’m happy that I was right and the people who read the novel that were telling me my theories were wrong and spoiling me every damn time are wrong instead. Hahahah. This is the problem with reading a novel first, you think you’re a smartass and try to correct everyone even if they just want to tell their theories. Anyway I’ll miss Big and Ken being in the show. Some people may have to watch it all again to see that Ken is the bad guy and Big was good.

2022-06-12 12:39:33 +0000 UTCthey got me at the reveal of the mole and the 'relationship' of tawan. i thought the changing of scenes was slightly sloppy for this episode, esp towards the second half. would have been nice to get a close up on the brothers when chay was upset - i thought the emotional energy of that scene fell flat and was wasted - this shld have been quite an important moment between the porsche-porchay brothers who love each other a lot.
