SS is SO RARE that they literally cant study it. and Pete doesnt have it neither in the book nor in the series and there are many reasons as to *why* that is, the huge ones being 1) he knew Vegas previously (for SS you have to be strangers). 2) vegas DID torture him (For SS the captor doesnt usually physically harm their captive), 3) Pete WAS going to escape. a person with SS would never even consider escaping. ppl can be uncomfortable by VP, but they shouldn't try to diagnose Vegas or Pete with things they dont understand in order to make up excuses. you can just say you aren't comfortable with enemies to lovers which is what VP are. *actual* enemies to lovers. not fake rival "enemies" to lovers.

The tv show version of Vega is much better…but we need to realize that Pete was being tortured in the show as well. It is much less than the book….but I don’t think it’s right to mock how others react to Vegas and Pete. It’s triggering for some people. They are valid for having the reactions they do to them just as much as people who love them. ❤️

VegasPete was amazing, BibleBui are both great, their acting was just superb!!! I love me some KinnPorsche, I just wanted Kinn to follow Porsche without waiting for his father's approval!! But in the end, I just love them together, I know I'm being delulu but MileApo look that they are just perfect for each other!! I felt bad for Chay, I can't relate (didn't have the time to be rebellious) and I hate that his first thought was giving up school, getting drunk and almost doing drugs!! Don't want it to end!!!!

2022-06-28 04:17:58 +0000 UTCYes! Thank god for your reaction! I'm so tired of hearing about how much "Toxic and wrong and sick" PeteVegas is, I mean are these people blind?! Since day one was very clear that yes Pete was being tortured and he was feeling pain but not ONLY, he kept smiling and we could clearly see there was something else there too. As for the torture, it's a show about Mafia and their bodyguards, since first episode we've seen people being killed left and right, extreme violence, people being beaten up and even beheading, but everyone is so horrified by torture, really?! It's so hypocrite... For Vegas, Pete was his enemy and instead of just killing him he was torturing him for info and for fun yes. But thats what Mafia does, they kill their enemies, they torture, they beat people up. It's just our point of view that was different because it was Pete... So, thank you for a perfect sane reaction without the Over the top criticism. You guys are the best! ❤️

2022-06-28 03:58:56 +0000 UTCI would also like to add that those 2 reasons arent the only ones someone would be into it. Sometimes the psychological pain is too much for one to handle. And theres an emotional release from that pain once you are subjected to physical pain. Thats why some ppl cut. It takes the edge of emotional pain. Same goes with handing the power and control of yourself to someone else. In that moment of time you are free from ur worries, stress, anxiety, fear etc.
