just rewatching this - and at the last scene: Where the kiss was essentially a sign of Mark laying down his dignity, and step of courage just to be a place of refuge and comfort for Vee: the pouring rain stopped, and the moon (represents Vee) can be seen again, no longer hidden by the rainclouds.
