Honestly I’m surprised so many didn’t like the first episode. Honestly I thought it was beautifully done. It starts off a bit after the prequel episode of the disappointment from Nine disappearing from Dao life and Dao having to pick himself up from that newest heartache after a previous heartache. it doesn’t “jump into the plot” because it is setting up for it and allowing us to see how Dao is struggling to accept that what he and Nine had was possibly nothing. It is a piece of a persons life that we take for granted: the process of moving on.

I mean, the last few minutes were it!! I'm biased too, so I'll be watching, ride or die, but this first episode was just MEH!
